About

Mig grew up in Rockford, Illinois, and spent a decade working in Chicago and NYC before moving to South Florida in 2021.

Background

I majored in History at Wheaton College (Illinois) and studied law at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. In law school I served as President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, and worked as a Summer Associate for Saper Law, a leading intellectual property, media and business law firm in Chicago. I graduated from Loyola and passed the Illinois bar exam in 2010, and maintain my Illinois license (inactive status) to this day.

After a year of leading a solo law practice as a newly admitted attorney, I learned that I was actually more interested in developing effective strategies and creative ideas than the contracts that underlie them. With this in mind, I accepted an entry-level position at Digitas Chicago in March 2012 — thus began my career in marketing. Since then, I have worked at leading agencies in Chicago and NYC, helping some of the world’s largest brands connect with consumers through media, content and culture.

I am currently based in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area and consult advertisers and ad agencies on a freelance basis.
